This was the last shawl I designed right before moving away from the wee Village of Cumberland, lovingly known as “Dodge” by the locals. It is a sweet little spot on Eastern Vancouver Island nestled in the mountains and surrounded by endless trails through the mountains, rainforest, and lake shores. This wee shawl is a perfect choice for layers when the fall fog starts to roll in or you need a bit of protection for those chilly lake nights or forest strolls.
Techniques to enjoy: slipped stitch texture, i-cord bind off, lace.

> This pattern was made with yarn sourced from local fibre sheds and flock-specific sources. That means it is not possible to replicate the exact yarn which some may find frustrating. I encourage everyone to pick out a yarn that will make you excited, and if possible, take this as an opportunity to explore your own fibre sheds and those who are turning flock-specific fibre into yarn. (Will have more to say here later)
> This pattern is very forgiving when it comes to what kind of yarn you use. Specified gauge isn’t necessary if you appreciate the nature of the fabric you are knitting. If you chose to use another yarn weight, please be aware you may need to adjust your needle size and adjust the quantity of yarn used.
As always, instructions are in written and chart when applicable. The pattern has been tech-edited and tested. Thank you to my tech editor rhyFlowerKnits and to my lovely bunch of talented testers
